Welded bags

With this in mind Aerovac offers welded 3-D nylon vacuum bags as an alternative to lengthy, complex vacuum bags made from flat sheet. These bags not only vastly reduce the time taken to vacuum bag a component they also simplify Cleanroom operations offering greater flexibility in production planning and staffing.

Aerovac has been the pioneer in these products for many years, including complex 3 dimensional reusable vacuum bags and bespoke de-bulking systems; with the launch of our "Lean Cleanroom" vision these products are now finding additional value in removing waste from our customer's clean rooms. VACFILM300R
VACFILM300R, is a self releasing tubular film which is suitable for autoclave use and designed for use in internal bagging applications. It is particularly suited to the production of hollow structures (wishbones etc...) where traditional nylon films can prove difficult to remove after the cure. The material can be used with both epoxy and phenolic resins and has a maximum recommended operating temperature of 160°C (320°F).

VACFILM450V
VACFILM450V, is a nylon based vacuum bagging film, which is designed for use in medium temperature 'motor sport' cures and is suitable for autoclave processing of composite structures up to 170°c (340°f), thus avoiding over specification of bagging film. Both VACFILM330R & VACFILM450V are available in a wide range of formats & sizes and part rolls are available upon request.
