RVCS® is a new Aerovac development which adds to the already comprehensive range of reusable sealing systems. RVCS® consists of a semi rigid rubber frame supporting the diaphragm, and sealed with separate vacuum cavities sections applied successively by hand pressure around the mould. RVCS® is particularly suited to low temperature vacuum applications and for vacuum oven cures. Eliminate the problems of storage and implementation! With its lightness and frame's flexibility, the RVCS® system is easy to handle and store. This also allows the production of large dimension parts, without the added constraint of a heavy inflexible membrane. The implementation of reusable membranes reduces labour intensive operations such as the laying up of vacuum bagging consumables, and it is an appreciable cost saving for both stocking and disposal. Very reliable, Aerovac's RVCS® system is quickly applied using successive vacuums on each section and the strength of membrane reduces the risk of tears and loss of composite part during curing.
