Flow Media, Combination Products, Tapes and Infusion Essentials
The Aerovac product offering includes a full suite of materials engineered to support effective resin flow and consistent vacuum infusion. Traditional flow media that includes both extruded and knitted mesh in various thicknesses, geometries, and polymers are available.
Innovative combination products are designed to speed up the lay-up process to maximize efficiency. Vac-PLY INFUPLY, for example, includes perforated release film and infusion mesh, allowing users to produce more parts faster. Combi1 adds a nylon peel ply for those requiring a textured surface for secondary bonding. Aerofix 3 Adhesive Spray, formulated for compatibility with epoxy, vinyl ester, and polyester resins, enables secure placement of reinforcements and process materials. Double-sided tapes, adhesive sprays, and self-adhesive tool release further enhance lay-up efficiency and support reliable demolding.
High-Performance Vacuum Bagging Films
Aerovac provides a comprehensive range of vacuum bagging films engineered for high-performance composite manufacturing. These vacuum bagging films are designed to deliver consistent durability and dependable processing.
The Aerovac line of vacuum bagging films includes industry-recognized options such as VACFILM™ 205B, VACFILM™ 200G, StretchVac SV4000, and VACFILM™ 400Y—materials valued for durability and dependable performance in Wind Energy, Marine, Laminated Glass, and Aerospace applications. Quickdraw® and Stretch-Vac® films are engineered for debulking, autoclave curing, and molding complex geometries. With temperature capabilities up to 800°F and availability as resin infusion starter kits or standard roll stock, these films meet a wide range of processing requirements.
Advanced Release Films for Precision Demolding
Efficient demolding is supported through a range of advanced release films, including A2200, A2300, A2400, A5000, and A6200. Manufactured from high-quality materials and available in multiple perforation patterns and temperature ratings, these solutions help control resin buildup, support consistent airflow management, and promote smooth, reliable part separation after curing.
Peel Ply and Release Fabrics for Surface Preparation
The peel ply and release fabric lineup—including A100, B4444, 200TFP and 60001—provides a wide range of options for a variety of surface preparation and temperature variance needs. Whether the application requires lightweight or heavyweight constructions, nylon, polyester or Teflon coated glass or pinstripe variants, these peel plies deliver controlled surface textures that improve secondary bonding, enhance paint adhesion, and contribute to consistent composite performance.
Vacuum Hoses, Breach Units and Ancillary Hardware
A selection of vacuum accessories rounds out the infusion offering. Vacuum hoses, vacuum breach units, fittings, and gauges are engineered to maintain stable vacuum pressure and effective resin flow. Compatible with ambient temperature, as well as elevated oven and autoclave environments, these components deliver long-term durability and versatility across a broad range of closed molding applications.
